There are six playable races for players choosing. And these races are divided into 3 factions. The there factions are: Alfar (dark elves); Orks, Mahirim (wolf men); Human, Mirdain (forese elves), Dwarves. But one of the Darkfall’s feature is that to choose race is not heavily influence character choices. Each race begins to play in their homeland. They have theirselves unique histories and racial alliances and enemies.

Of course, players will meets differents characters of races in the game. Some of characters become friends with each other, while others become enemies. It is possible for allied calsn to declare war on both their own race and their racial alies. Players of the declaring clan will be prvented form killing players of the opposing clan because they declares the war, regardless of race.

Each race should have powered abilities so that they can declare the war and win. It needs some experienced players with skills. At that time, game gold is necessary.
